2025 Chelsea Challenge

We’re excited to share that Boston Pride Hockey will be heading back to NYC this Memorial Day Weekend (May 23–26) for the 2025 Chelsea Challenge, hosted by the New York City Pride Hockey Alliance!

There are two ways to participate:

Recreational Drop-In Divisions:

This long-standing tournament has made exciting changes this year to create a more welcoming, community-driven experience. The recreational divisions will now follow a drop-in format, meaning players can register individually and will be placed on balanced teams by the tournament organizers. If you're looking for a fun, social, and inclusive way to hit the ice with players from across North America, this is a great opportunity.

🔗 Learn more and register directly for a drop-in division here: www.nycgha.org/cc

  • If you’re signing up for a drop-in recreational division, you do not need to complete the interest form below—please register directly via the link above.

  • Use discount code MAKEITEARLY25 to receive early-bird pricing through April 30th.

  • When registering, please include “Boston Pride Hockey” or “BPH” in the comment box so we can keep track of who’s attending.

Competitive Division

In addition to the drop-in divisions, BPH is also looking to form a competitive B Division team—the only division not using the drop-in model. If you’re interested in playing with BPH in the B Division, please fill out the interest form below by Sunday, April 27th:

NHL Pride Cup at 4 Nations Face-Off

We’re excited to announce that, thanks to our partners at the NHL, the second-ever NHL Pride Cup is coming to Boston as part of the 4 Nations Face-Off—and BPH is proud to host the game on home ice.

Following its groundbreaking debut in Toronto last year, where the Toronto Gay Hockey Association competed in the League’s inaugural Pride Cup during NHL All-Star Weekend, BPH is honored to carry the torch for the second edition—this time, alongside one of international hockey’s most anticipated events.

Join us on Sunday, February 16, at 11:00 AM at Warrior Ice Arena as two BPH teams face off for the Pride Cup trophy in a friendly game celebrating our community and shared commitment to inclusivity.

This free, open-to-the-public event is part of a series of activations surrounding the 4 Nations Face-Off, a premier tournament bringing together elite national teams from the U.S., Canada, Sweden, and Finland—right here in Boston.
