2024 winter season

see below for Important details on registration & evaluation skates

Registration launch & rules

Registration for the 2024 Winter IHL Season will open on Sunday, November 26, at 2:00 P.M. ET. and close Sunday, December 10. The season will run from January 7 to April 28 with games every Sunday at either 7:30 or 8:30 P.M. at Cronin Skating Rink in Revere, MA.

Interest in the IHL is at an all-time high so here are important details to consider:

  1. Registration is first come, first served and is only open to players from previous IHL seasons or new players who have attended an evaluation skate. A waitlist will be started once registration reaches capacity.

  2. If you expect that you will miss more than three games (excluding the first week), we ask that you do not register. Attendance is critical to team success on and off the ice.

  3. Playoff attendance is mandatory.

  4. Financial aid is available to all players through BPH’s Scholarship Fund. Learn more here.

evaluation skates

For new players to the IHL, attendance at an evaluation skate—at least one—is mandatory to be eligible for the winter season. Any current BPH member who wishes to be re-evaluated is welcome to attend, although is not a requirement. The scrimmages will function like an IHL game with three periods, referees, and a scorekeeper.

“We invite anyone who brings heart, energy, and passion to join the IHL. Teamwork, acceptance, and respect are at the core of each of our initiatives, and the IHL is creating a community that celebrates inclusivity, on and off the ice.”

— Mark Tikonoff, President of Boston Pride Hockey
