The Chicago Gay Hockey Association has announced that the Market Days Classic is back for 2022! The LGBTQ+ and ally-friendly ice hockey tournament will return to Fifth Third Arena, the Chicago Blackhawks Community Ice Rink, in August—and BPH has opened a form to survey interest for both skill divisions.

Festivities will begin the evening of Wednesday August 3rd with a welcome party, with hockey games played from the evening of Thursday, August 4th through Saturday, August 6th. Additionally, CGHA will be planning a series of social events throughout the weekend—including the tournament banquet on Saturday. The CGHA invites you to also explore the Northalsted Market Days, the largest street festival in the Midwest. Registration will be $175/player with payment plans available. Once interest is confirmed, BPH will conduct a formal signup process to assemble rosters.
